Booking terms
By booking directly on this site you accept the following terms. The short-term rental contract is entered into with the owner, Francesco Rubino, a private individual not acting as a business (art. 4 D.L. 50/2017). The price is not subject to VAT and no invoice is issued; a receipt can be provided on request.
Guests
The apartment accommodates up to 4 people in two double bedrooms. Infants from 0 to 2 years old are welcome and are not counted towards the number of guests: a free baby cot is available on request for them. The number and age of guests indicated in the booking must match the actual ones: a supplement of €27 per night applies for each undeclared adult or teen (12-17 years) and €19 per night for children (3-11 years). Visitors may not stay overnight. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Payment
The total, including city tax and any extras, is paid online at the time of booking by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. On request you can pay by PayPal or bank transfer: in this case the booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Message us on WhatsApp for more information.
Cancellation and changes
When booking you can choose between two rates. Flexible rate: free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in, with a full refund within 10 working days to the same payment method. After that, and in case of no-show or early departure, the amount is non-refundable. You can ask to change your dates, subject to availability: the rate in force for the new dates applies. Non-refundable rate: 10% lower price. Discounts (single occupancy, long stays and the non-refundable rate) add up to a maximum of 25% of the price of the nights: beyond that, the non-refundable discount is reduced, and the actual discount is always shown before payment. The amount is not refundable in case of cancellation, no-show or early departure. Dates cannot be changed or shortened, but you can add nights before or after your stay, if available, at the rate in force. For bookings with check-in less than 14 days away, only the non-refundable rate is available, already discounted by 10% (within the 25% maximum discount). To cancel or change your booking, contact us on WhatsApp. If, due to force majeure, we are unable to host you, we will refund the full amount, whichever rate you chose. As this is an accommodation service for specific dates, the right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. We ask you to communicate your estimated arrival time: we will welcome you in person. Early arrivals and late departures are possible on request, if the apartment is available. If you arrive before check-in and the apartment is not ready yet, or if you leave on an afternoon or evening flight or train and want to explore without your bags, we can store your luggage.
ID document
A valid ID document is required for each guest on arrival, including minors. As required by law, the data is communicated to the police.
City tax
The City of Bari charges a tourist tax of €2 per person per night, for a maximum of 4 nights. Children aged 13 and under are exempt. The tax is included in the total you pay, and we pay it to the City.
House rules
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Pets are not allowed. Parties or events are not permitted. Quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, out of respect for the other residents of the building.
Damages
The guest is responsible for any damage to the apartment and furnishings caused during the stay, which will be charged to them.
Parking
The parking space in the covered underground garage, a 6-minute walk away, if booked, follows the same cancellation terms as the stay.
Welcome
We welcome guests in person on arrival. The building has a doorman in the mornings, except on Sundays.
Privacy
Guests' personal data and documents are processed exclusively to manage the booking and to meet legal obligations, as described in the privacy notice.
