Data collected
First name, surname, email, phone, group composition and age of minors, arrival time, ID document data of each guest collected on arrival. When browsing the site: technical data and visit statistics (see the Cookie policy). Payment data is handled directly by the payment service provider: we do not see or store your card details.
Purposes and legal basis
Managing the booking, payment, welcome and stay-related communications: performance of the contract. Communicating guest data to the police (art. 109 TULPS), paying the city tax to the Municipality of Bari, fulfilling tax obligations and regional statistical surveys: legal obligation. Collecting aggregate statistics on visits to the site: legitimate interest in improving it. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not carry out profiling.
Provision of data
Provision is necessary to book and to stay: without this data we cannot confirm the booking or carry out check-in.
Recipients
Data may be shared with: the Police (Alloggiati Web portal), the City of Bari, the Puglia Region for tourism statistics, our accountant and the people who help us welcome guests, who are bound by confidentiality. To run the website, payments and communications we use providers that process data on our behalf: Base44 (website and booking platform, confirmation emails and visit statistics), Wix Payments (the payment service used by Base44), WhatsApp and Google (messaging and email). Payment data (card number, cardholder) is collected and managed directly by Wix Payments and is neither visible to nor stored by us. If a provider processes data outside the European Union, the transfer takes place with the safeguards required by the Regulation.
Retention
Booking data and accounting documents are kept for 10 years, as required by tax regulations. On arrival we photograph the ID document of each guest solely for the purpose of registering its data on the police Alloggiati Web portal, as required by law. The photos are deleted immediately after registration, which takes place within 24 hours of arrival, and we do not keep copies.
Rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection and portability of your data, within the limits of the law, by writing to the contacts indicated above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
